The county fair theme was inspired in part by Mom's favorite story about Dylan. We took Mom to visit them in California when he was 14 months old and at a restaurant he grabbed corn-on-the-cob from one of our plates and happily chomped away.
He had quite a grip on his first ear of corn-on-the-cob.
I asked Kathy to make these corn-on-the-cob cupcakes for his party.
Dylan and Mom remembering his first ear of corn-on-the-cob.
Accommodations were quickly made to set everything up inside the garage since we had torrential rains from mid-morning to mid-afternoon.
Five of our six young ones coming back to the garage from the RV...so cute!
Shelby was in charge of the craft table where everyone decorated their own goodie bag.
Games of skill and chance filled the Midway.
A treat bowl at each game held prizes and candy for all players to add to their goodie bags.
Dylan took time out to have his birthday party lunch with his mom.
The photo booth was a popular stop for many...
The balloon arch was put in place earlier by some of our oh-so-cool family during that downpour!
The pinata was a dairy cow...remember, this was a county fair!
And no birthday party would be complete without candles on birthday cake, singing, and PRESENTS!
Happy 10th Birthday, Dylan!

Glad reading this detailed share. Birthday celebration with kids is such a relaxing time. My friends are thinking for a pool party after exams. It will be a kind of success eve after completion of graduation. Lovely place would be event space NYC only and I think planning can be done before hand to avoid last minute rush.
