We were all HUNGRY after our exciting day at the Arboretum so we made our own pizzas when we got home. Using refrigerated biscuit dough, each of the kids rolled out the crust and then added toppings to their own pizzas.
Well, of course, Grandpa had to make his own pizza too!
They were not only fun to make, they were YUMMY to eat. And getting to use the pizza cutter was a great added bonus!
Lovin' Life ~~ And Making Dinner Together
That's one of our favorite meals. Sometimes we use pita bread for the crust, too. It's easier for the little ones than a rolling pin.
ReplyDeleteSo happy to see you enjoying your grandkids!
Mmmmm.. This makes me want homemade pizza. Ross canned some sauce a few weeks ago. He has his own recipe and it tastes oh so close to Reno's. I am sure that we will have plenty throught the winter as the nights come earlier and earlier.
