Our Last Key West Evening

Yesterday we drove into Key West for breakfast, did some shopping, and checked out Fort Zachary Taylor Historical State Park, which happens to be the southernmost State Park for those of you who are following along...haha The rest of the day we read and relaxed...I know, I know we are really pushing the envelope on this retirement thing!

At the beach concert Saturday night, Rich won a silent auction item from Pampered Pets in Key West which resulted in the girls having a spa day today! They look great and must be relieved to get rid of that warm coat.

This afternoon we packed a picnic, loaded up the girls, and spent the evening at the beach in Zach Taylor Park. The sunset this evening was absolutely magnificent; on the drive home we even considered staying a couple more days since the wind has died down and the temps are cooler. But, tomorrow we will be back on the road as planned; I don't know when we will have WI-FI again so just keep checking for our next post.  Now, I should just let the photos tell the story of this evening...
And then just look what happens after the sun sets...
