Our Trophy Head

Some of you will not approve I'm sure, but like most hunters we have now hung a trophy head as a constant reminder of one of our most memorable shoots.

Taxidermy requires steady hands, acute vision, knowledge of anatomy, precision instruments, a delicate touch and patience...it's not for the squeamish. Here are a few process shots.

After serious deliberation and with great pride, we hung our trophy in the bathroom where it can be viewed often.

OMG...isn't this adorable though? When we were walking back to our car after wading in the Yampa River after lunch, I was window shopping in the stores along the main street and saw this.
