Day 14 - Through Philadelphia to College Park, MD

I wish we could have spent more time in Philadelphia but it just didn't work out that way. We had to stop there on our way to Maryland and there was no place to park the RV. Rich drove around Independence Historical Park while the kids and I walked around to at least see the buildings. The crowds were surprisingly large and we just couldn't stand in line for the hour or two it would have taken to see the Liberty Bell since Rich was driving around and around.

Here are a few photos we took there.

Ben Franklin and four other signers of the Declaration of Independence are buried here.

Here is a shot of Philadelphia taken as we headed out of town, pretty huh?

From there we drove through Delaware...

...and into Maryland.

This evening after we were settled in our last multi-day location for this trip, Shelby and I did laundry. We do know how to have a good time!
