A Very Special Day!

As I logged on to my Blogger page, I noticed that this will be my 100th blog post...that is so hard for me to believe! I enjoy writing and posting these and I really hope you all enjoy reading them.

And how special is this...I am writing my 100th post in our new RV!

We are both really tired this evening but wanted to share some of our day. For a chuckle here are Dora and Bella the last evening in our Trail Lite. Can you tell that Rich and I were so excited and antsy that we had to hassle them for entertainment?!?

We did laundry again, packed, and organized for the move this morning. At 2:00 we went to the dealer to complete paperwork, have our walk through, and move. Here is Rich driving the Trail Lite into the dealer's lot.

The Winnebago wasn't ready to go until nearly 6:00 but the technician working on it is GREAT so, after the cleaning crew was done, we moved while he worked. What a job! You cannot imagine how much stuff we had packed into that Class C. After we finished organizing it to make use of every single square inch, we were able to take everything we needed...and much more that we didn't of course. They even moved the new kitchen faucet, that Rich had just installed, into the new RV.

Here are some shots from this afternoon...by the way the temps were in the high 90s, the hottest day of the year they said.

With an RV there is no choice but to put everything in its place because it cannot be driven until the slideouts are back in. So, we persevered and here is the proof of our success...Rich is turning into our KOA in the Winnebago.

And yes, I was taking photos while driving behind Rich....but our KOA is just a mile or so around the corner from three dealers which is how we found this perfect (for us) RV...karma? You can see that we did a pretty thorough job of putting stuff away and, yes, that is a Wendy's bag on the table...there was no cooking in this kitchen tonight. The girls had kind of a tough day too being shuffled around while we moved so there is a burger for each of them in that bag too!

Here we are tonight with another adventure to our credit, trading RVs 2,000 miles from home. When I started this blog, 100 posts ago on January 2nd, we never dreamed that we would be Meandering in such style. That is only one of so many reasons why I'm...
